RB did well to come back and get a point in KC. That crowd was awesome.

Don Garber intends to release more details about MLS expansion plans in the coming months, but ASN's Brooke Tunstall decided to handicap the field today. Here's his detailed exploration.

American Soccer Now has learned that Minneapolis has emerged as a near-lock for one of the two expansion teams. Further, several sources said that a group headed by Minnesota United owner Bill McGuire—and backed by the owners of the NBA’s Timberwolves and MLB's Twins—are preferred to an ownership bid led by Vikings owner Zygi Wilf.

I hope Sacramento is the other team. I think there is just enough of a hipster population to make it a viable MLS destination.

I don't think Sacramento will get one, to be honest. Too many teams in California.

My hope is that a progressive ownership group appears in St. Louis. That city has such a great history with the sport in this country, it should have an MLS team, IMO.

Looks like Diego Costa is reffing the Chicago/Vancouver game.

We could have used Costa for the Columbus-Toronto game because Morrow didn't deserve a red card.

If it's a foul in that spot and situation, it has to be a red.

Said this when Liverpool had a friendly there last summer. It's awful in every sense.

Caught the Portland-LA match last night. Just another insane ending to add to that series.

Cameron Porter is one very, very impressive young talent.

                      That is all.

Would be sweet to have the MLS here. And the stadium would move closer to me. Blaine is kind of a hike, coming from the south metro.

That NYC game was basically the David Villa show, which is fine because I really like that show.

Things in Minnesota are escalating quickly. Big MLS press conference at Target Field tomorrow.

MN United FC are expected to be announced as the 23rd MLS team contingent on stadium plans being finalized by a deadline (probably July).

A nice breakdown of everything so far:

I see no reason why this doesn't get done. I believe they have the ability and willingness to build this stadium with no direct public money. Wilf can take his awful taxpayer ripoff indoor stadium and shove it up his ***.

Turns out I jinxed the poor kid. Sounds like he's gone for the season with a knee injury suffered against NE. My bad.
