It was only a matter of time before Alves went to Chelsea....Glenn Johnson is awful there anyway. And Ronnie going to Milan is just not happening at least this season anyway...

Don't forget about Paulo Ferreira, who's coming back from injury. He was in the doghouse last year, but I rate him higher than Johnson any day of the week.

Yep, and i here i thought Barcelona signed all the Dutch players LOL. But Robben hasn't signed yet...

Speaking of Dutch players and Spanish clubs, Valencia have made a bid for Hamburg's Rafael van der Vaart.

And Nobby Solano wants to move to a London-based club to be near his family.

Eurosport have reported that Real Madrid have also made a £20million bid for Zaragoza striker Diego Milito.

Same source claims Tottenham have also made a £10million bid for Juan Roman Riquelme.

About time. That rumor was going on forever.

How many Brazilians do we have now? We're not the Rossoneri...just call us A Seleção.

The announcers were talking about Pederson possibly being an Arsenal target during last Sunday's game (meaning before the transfer window closes). However, Mark Hughes supposedly said that he does not want to sell him now, as the Rovers are in the UEFA Cup and want to remain in a European spot this year. Would he be eligible for a free transfer next summer?

I think Riquelme is a fabulous player, but I have my doubts about how successful he would be in the EPL. He does not like to play a physical game and often lets that style get under his skin and affect his performance. With that be being said, I would still be excited if he were linked with my team...

Apparently that was an unsubstantiated rumor... Chelsea has actually signed Juliano Belletti from Barca.

Also, Luque will be joining Ajax from the Magpies. His departure is no surprise as he has never settled at the club.

And Dynamo Kiev has offered to take Andriy Shevchenko on loan. I doubt Chelsea will take them up on that, even though they offer to pay his wages, which I'm sure are substantial...

Adriano to West Ham on loan?!

Arsenal have already rejected the chance to sign him, and Adriano himself turned down a move to Manchester City.

Lazio have joined the race now...Champions League football may be the bigger drawcard unless the Hammers can pen a permanent signing deal.
