That's crazy weird then. And at the US Open nonetheless where heavy rough is like their biggest known feature. Even for an extremely casual golf watcher like myself knows that.

I've also had this at Bay Hill, both in Q School and Quick Play. Seems it's one of the courses in this game that has proper lie penalties for longer clubs, though for wedges and shorter irons it still feels too lenient. I've had to lay up on a few par 4s (#1 mainly) after missing the fairway on my tee shot.

Remind me to skip any tournament at Wolf Creek.

What a terrible course. It's just so insane that it sticks out like a sore thumb compared to all the other beautiful and sane courses in this game.

The second hole par 3 isn't even
Reachable in 1 shot because it's elevated so much.

I can see it's purpose if you want to mess around with friends or even play a silly round online but it's just really off being used for a PGA tournament.

No biggie I can just skip it but I had to say it's a super weird course that I didn't enjoy even a little bit.

I agree. I had to Google this one to make sure it was a real golf course (it is). Not my type of golf course. I plan on skipping events at this course as well.
