PS4 M19 Offseason Roster

I'm actually semi-retired lol.

I own a small business and normally work Friday and Saturday. I'm not as free as I used to be during the week as there is almost always something going on with one of my daughter's. School or sports related.

That and if the Cowboys, Rockets or Astros are playing, I'm watching that before touching Madden lol.

I'm open to helping, but the only major things I'd be correcting or adjusting are the accuracy of the rosters... going through and ensuring there aren't any players still on rosters that aren't, adding guys that are free agents that are currently on teams, etc. Adjusting jersey numbers and depth charts. As has been established with recent posts, it's a little difficult to be perfect with offseason depth charts unless it's the team you follow.

I try to kinda' read a little on an addition to a team when the transaction happens so I'll have an idea of how a team expects to use a new player. Obviously doesn't always work out that way though.

Seems like I'm the only one who really cares about trying to get the ratings of guys that CJ adjusted back to "default" or where they were as of EA's last update. That may be a project I have to tackle myself after the roster is complete.

I don't know if you saw my charts I posted with a guideline for ratings I used to give guys based on pre-draft rankings and also the speed chart I used. While "game speed" is definitely different from timed speed, 40 times are all we really have to go on with the college guys. I don't know if you guys want to use those as a guideline or not. Just shared in case they'd be helpful.

This may turn into a two man project instead of a 3 person one since you guys both seem pretty motivated to make it great. I'm definitely open to helping in any way I can or you guys feel may help the roster, don't get me wrong. I'm never "online" other than to upload and download a roster lol. My internet SUCKS.

Hey CJ, great work on the roster. I've been using it more than just about any other the past few days and really love what you've done with the prospects. One small nitpick I do have is the prospects' helmets. I'm not sure when you will be uploading your next one, so I decided to go through and check the helmets/facemasks/visors on each prospect you've created and update them to the helmet they have used most recently. I created a master list right here by position, if a prospect isn't featured it means you've already got it the right one.

I know for the Cowboys right now I have Tyrone Crawford and Antwuan Woods as starting DT's but Christian Covington as the rush DT and he definitely gets a lot more snaps during the game than Woods (kinda' like you said how the Niners play certain packages a lot more often than others). Same with Dallas. Their Sam doesn't get many snaps. I can set it up how you feel it'll be. If I remember correctly I have Ward 2nd on the depth chart at FS. I could be wrong. AP, I assume you mean the Mike and Will are interchangeable in Madden, not real life, right? I know the Cowboys took Sean Lee from MLB to Will to free him up from a ton of traffic/blocks. They're definitely different in real life. If it's my roster you were talking about I'll look at making the Niner changes you feel will happen later tonight. Thanks!

Ford as both RE and Rush RE, with Buck and Thomas as Rush DTs, Rush LE would be Armstead for now, but if they do get Bosa, he'd be the Rush LE.

As I stated in a early thread I will only be creating prospects for the top 100 or first three rounds everyone who has my roster has their foot in the door with my first three draft rounds I will not be creating anymore after that it’s really too time consuming to try and make all 7 so be free to use my roster to go further hell I might end up using yours if it’s fire after the draft thanks for all the support and feedback

Do you have any idea when you will be done for sure?

Do you plan on going through the rosters and FA pool to make sure guys are signed/released again, you know to double check? Maybe jersey numbers too?

It may sound corny but I make sure guys don't have retired numbers. And number that aren't retired a team won't issue right now (like Redfern has #9 on yours... that won't happen.)

I think 100 prospects is pretty good for this year, especially with the way so many will be using draft classes. I know I definitely appreciate you making them.

Just for clarification LOLB is a strongside LB, or the "SAM." It has the strong safety above him as well as the strong side of the offensive line including the TE1 to deal with.

ROLB is the weak side and is the "WILL." These are universal in 4-3 schemes so I think you may have your post mixed up or at least the first post. That may be why it confused me initially.
