Yeah, when you start up a CFM, I do offline, you just turn off the setting that says gameplay tuning or whatever it is. I've never shut it off in an active CFM so that's why I recommended starting a new one...

Thank you for the quick response...do you play with assists (switch and strafe assist, heat seeker, and ball hawk) on or off? Also, do you injury and fatigue at default 50? If you do, are you also having auto subs at the default? Sorry for the plethora of questions but madden is quite maddening!

I use the assists, injury and fatigue at 50, auto subs at default.

Re: What has worked for me to get a great sim football game

Who knows? Maybe thats how they set it up to be played when they designed the game without slider impact. If it plays better without it on then its worth a try. Im interested in hearing about more games with it off. I thought it was for the tuning update. Its not like ea has told us what any of these sliders really do and why have a tuning on/off anyway if it didnt affect aome aspect of the game. Its Worth a shot since its been so difficult to find a sweet spot this year with sliders. I mean its 5 months and we are still figuring out better ways to tune this game..ugggh
