I'm not sure what his accuracy ratings are, but (hopefully) the QB ratings will matter a lot this year. If that is the case, I would rather stack my D with my first couple picks, probably a good MLB and CB, and get an accurate QB later in the draft. I don't need him to have a lot of throw power in the west coast type of offense I run, but accuracy is a must.

If the animations play out like they are touting thus far, If you get an accurate qb and some decent route runners at wr, you should be able to eat up opposing defenses by allowing your wrs to catch on the run. I'm thinking a more accurate passer will allow more yards after the catch. Going with someone that isn't as accurate may halt your offense in key situations with an arrant throw. It would also require better WRs with a less accurate passer.

Well it sounds like QB ratings actually mean something now in Madden so I guess take a QB. In Madden 25, I can take any jobber and throw 4,000+ 30tds. I've done with Matt Barkley.

Newton will go top 5 likely, and if he's available when you pick, I'd highly suggest taking him and try to arrange a trade with somebody later in the first if they want Newton, as he is probably one of the most valuable QB's due to his running ability in addition to his cannon. Just ask around, see who's interested in Cam, then if you get him, offer to trade him for a couple of defensive players you want or something. Maybe try to trade Cam for a late 1st and early second round pick if you can, that way you have two second round picks in addition to the late first.

I'd need a QB first round I think. If non of my top blokes are there, I'd start to build my beast defense. But I do like your board. I would never draft a RB first round, nor an old QB like Brady and Manning
