Season Mode ?

I love the GM aspect. I think most OS'ers like it as well. But that's just a guess on my part. Most people overall IMO seem to be casuals who play ranked, play now or play a season of franchise and get bored before they even finish it though.

The irony is that guys who play FOF probably consider Madden's CFM something for the Casual GM's that want a quick and easy arcade experience.

I don't care either way but this is where you are missing the boat. Everything for a season mode is already in the game. So the argument that It will "take away time from CFM" is where everyone is parting ways with you at. I'm like you and id probably never touch a season mode but I'm not gonna act like it wouldn't be a simple fix to add a season tab and just put the first season of franchise in with 32 team control. If that is too difficult for Madden devs to quickly get in and not waste time on then it's just a laziness problem.

Worse, EA's Connected Franchise modes are crap in all of their games. They are laggy messes in the UI, and lack features sports games had 15 years ago. Just horrible.

When I purchase Madden 15, I'm interested in playing out the 2014 NFL season. I have no interest in playing multiple seasons with fake rookies, fake schedules, implausible trades and unrealistic progression. If I wanted to do an in-depth dynasty, I would purchase a management sim. Hope that answers your question.

Honestly, I'm so confused reading this thread. Is it that hard to grasp the idea of people wanting to be immersed in a single season? The devs for the NHL series seem to grasp this.

You just wait 10 seconds after the offense picks and it's a random d play. BUT you have to wait 10 seconds and that really adds up
