Technically, can't you just start as a team, save settings as master file and if you want to start a different league, just load it up and choose a team?

Not seeing why we have to go through all of this since you can add another character at any point...?

It really doesn't take much effort to do it in the beginning. I suppose you could just do it your way, but if you're starting a franchise from scratch, preseason and all, wouldn't it make more sense to just control 32 teams from the beginning so you can have semi-control over the transactions of the other teams from the jump?

Hey, is it possible to switch between teams in-game while doing this like in Madden 07? If I can play all-time offense for realistic stats and games I will do a 32-man franchise in a heartbeat.

I have some question before I go and set this up. Thanks so much for putting all this together you guys.


1. What exactly does doing this workaround or help in the franchise? confidence, etc...


2. When you set the CPU teams to auto, will the CPU still make moves like a solo cfm or will they only do it in the offseason


3. Any weird things other needed in order to get this to work correctly or is it once its set, is it basically the same as a solo cfm.

Drive goals have been fixed in patch. So really not much of a need to do this anymore.

Apologies if I missed this, but what are you guys doing to make sure that YOUR trades are fair? I've tried both autopilot and not, but no matter what, any trade that I proposed to another team is automatically accepted. I'm really focused on trades other than those in the Draft, since with the Jimmy Johnson Trade Trade chart we do have a somewhat fair metric on draft pick values.

I know that one work around would be to "retire" the coach of the target team, but that seems tedious.

I'm assuming that this isn't because I'm Commissioner - I guess I haven't tried proposing a ridiculous trade with a NON-Commissioner team to an autopilot one to see if it was accepted.
