Yeah it's a welcome addition, but it's got to show love with the proper tuning. They can't just throw us a bone and leave it at that.

It's also just tuning. Doesn't account for realistic animations and movement. That's stuff they have to continue to improve on for the setting to really shine.

For me I think the animations and such are OK, its the AI that really peeves me.

Why can my FB not pick up a blitzer? Why do my lineman and TE just run right past defensive players play after play? Its mind boggling to me.

It's because the outcome of every play is predetermined IMO and you're not gonna get an organic feel to the game ever because of that. i honestly think the programming is such that it produces momentum swings through predetermined down and distance outcomes and turnovers. You ever wonder why a defender can cover 3 players at once? It's because you're gonna throw that pick no matter where you throw it or your're gonna take a sack fumble to produce that predetermined turnover.

Totally agree with that. The brain dead blocking is a legacy issue. Hope it's finally addressed but, we'll just have to wait and see. Grinds my gears too....

If that is true, and I'm not saying it is, but if so that all goes back to people not wanting unpredictability in the game and wanting instead for it to be a paper/rock/scissors type experience.

Good points as usual adembroski. That's a reason I stated I'd reserve judgment until further vids. Understand, that's been a primary personal issue I've had with Madden for over a decade now so I'm kinda traumatized lol!

I just hope those warping, 2 man WR/DB animations are gone, or at least drastically reduced. The amount of times I threw it up to a receiver who has a mismatch and he got sucked into an animation and didn't jump...
