Re: Afraid of patches

It's easy to run the ball once you get used to it, but the ai run game absolutely needs to be addressed.

One of the biggest keys to offense in '19: vary your playcalls.

I play all madden and cant run to save my life minus 1 play that works. I also cant run on all pro either. I can pass just fine but running is impossible to me.
I am using a&s sliders with the roster with the edited traits. I have great running results with those two things except for the read option

The only other quick and easy trick that also might help, and I have not tried this, is to tune CPU fumbles down to 35 or 40 to see if that causes the ballcarrier to become more conservative.

This game really needed a full 2 years to work thru the mechanics of RPM. I'm still enjoying it because I guess I braced myself for issues beforehand. Of course, I thought it was gonna be the opposite and the CPU backs were all gonna tear it up. Boy, I had that theory wrong.
This is where the fact it's built on old code shines. The little swerves the CPU would do the just barely avoid tackles no longer works so they hard stop and get caught. The run logic is still the same with the new tech so run defense is massively easy now
