I am able to open files in the editor. Now, to see if it will carry over to changes in the game..


Nope. Once you try to load your files back in madden it says they are corrupted. Need to find a way to properly rehash/resign our files. Just clicking the rehash/resign button in horizon won't do the trick anymore.

I have tried numerous times, and with several editors but the when I transfer the edited file onto the game, it says that file is damaged and unable to open. I hope someone who has more experience could figure out what I am unable to. Thanks for trying and good luck.

We experienced a similar issue with 2k this last year. In NBA 2k12 you could just click the rehash resign button and it would all be fine. But, in NBA 2k13, they added some sort of coding that changed when you modified the file, which would make it corrupt when you tried to load it.

The remedy was a separate program created by Chrome (cant remember exact user name) that fixed the coding, and made the files readable again. Hopefully someone with that sort of knowledge can work with us here, because honestly.. if we can't edit the rosters, Madden is non buy for me. So many inaccuracies.

I agree, being able to edit the roster is an absolute must. Hopefully a remedy can be found. Thanks Rondo for you're help.

I know that NCAA 14 has to be used with a hex editor before it would load in the game. Would this help Madden as well?

Those any of you have a android tablet download b1 archeive from google play find a hex editor from the play store nd save the roster file on to ur sd card move it too the b1 archeive nd convert the files openen them up on ur hex nd maybe it'll be easyier then using a computer cuz your able to download hex editing apps maybe thall help I wud try but idont know how to hex edit or mess with the files other then messing with players proggressions nd dept charts nd salarys in the game I have the madden 13 files on my madden 12 nd had no problems dealings with salary cap issues or player progression all you have to do is edit every player nd balance them out tru there own rateings nd play at a custom setting of computer in the 70s nd user settings to 67 or 69 it balance all in game play nd makes it fee like a real game play better playing all madden nd everyone getts max reps nd the progressions tru each session is great, after the third year you might have to play with all teams but just to fix certain teams with drafting nd cutting players but once that done 4th year you start seeing more retired players that need to retire nd you get great result tru eachsession .if any body need me to help with any of that then feel free to ask.

The same editor. Maybe the roster file doesn't work cuz it's early release?
