Re: DB's Madden 11 Sliders

You guys have to take Mike32s idea of adjusting all the offense and defense playbooks.

I removed a ton of plays from both, but really only made 4 total defensive game plans with a ton of options for them to use.

The playcalling by the CPU is MUCH improved.

ALmost to the point of WTF!

Hey, I tried out the sliders and I only noticed two problems.

1. The kicker missed an Extra Point, which happens maybe once a year IRL.

2. I couldn't run at all (maybe I suck but...) had either 1 yard or 0 yards.

but I'm sure that took a ton of time so thanks for providing them.

Re: DB's Madden 11 Sliders

OK after MUCH testing lots of human pass d ..maybe not enough, but I've had so many games vs Dallas that I'd swear were controlled by another human. They were that good UNTIL I got a lead in some (I lost a good few)..then the ai goes kamikaze, and its hello slot Holmes TD time...sad.

Anyway 1st post maybe not enough.

Btw 5 Btk for the ai, just meaqs that in some games, you can't tackle their WR- any of them, a 2 yd dump off is a 15 yd completion.NO.

CPU BRk Tck down to 20 where it belongs.

I get to the QB no problem, but he unloads it every time. I play with the Cowboys and Ware does create havock and crush the QB. But I should have more than 5 sacks with him!

Better QBs I can understand, but not the lesser ones. There is a little difference but still...

Dont get me wrong, I DO NOT want 8 or 9 sacks against these guys but a few would be nice.

And this is not your sliders it is a game issue, same as last year.

Re: DB's Madden 11 Sliders

Just tried these sliders for the first time in an exhibition Vikings vs. Packers.

Vikings (User) 34 - Packers 20
Total Offense: 609 / 288
Rushing Yds: 271 / 29
Passing Yards: 338 / 259
First Downs: 29 / 14
Sacks: 7 / 1
143 Total Offensive Plays (not including punts and FGs)

B.Favre: 28/46 for 343 yards, 2 TD, int, 89.3 rating
A.Peterson: 32 for 227 yards, TD, 3 fumbles, 5 catches for 42 yards
T.Gerhart: 9 for 44 yards
P.Harvin: 8 catches for 131 yards, TD
S.Rice: 7 catches for 92 yards, TD
K.Williams: 6 solo, 4 ast, 4 sacks
J.Allen: 2 sacks
C.Cook: int
R.Lonwell: 4 FG

A.Rodgers: 22/42 for 303 yards, TD, int, 73.8 rating
R.Grant: 14 for 29 yards, TD, 3 catches for 20 yards
G.Jennings: 4 catches for 72 yards
B.Swain: 3 catches for 53 yards
D.Driver: 3 catches for 14 yards, TD
J.Finley: 2 catches for 61 yards
N.Collins: 11 solo, 6 ast
B.Jones: 10 solo, 2 ast
C.Matthews: 6 solo, int, TD

The game actually started out really slow. The score was only 10-6 at halftime. I managed to put up a ton of yards, but not that many points (mostly due to Adrian's 2 fumbles in the redzone). Kevin Williams had 4 sacks, mostly under CPU control. I had 2 sacks with Jared Allen. Nick Collins had 11 solo tackels and 6 assisted. Brad Jones (GB) had 10 solo and 2 assisted. The weirdest thing I noticed was that Mason Crosby missed not one, but TWO extra points.

I think I'll probably tune the FG accuracy back to 50. I wish that could be modified separately between CPU and User. I'll try a game with a less offensive team and see what the results are.
