Re: GJD23 & WTBB's Madden 25 All-Madden Sliders
4 is the newest one, I'm using 4. WTBB is using an earlier version but the more updated the better.

Yeah I'm getting absolutely demolished.
44-14 at the half, Broncos(CPU) vs. Raiders. I'm using the settings WTBB put up a couple posts ago with the 100 QBA etc. Only scores for me came on a kickoff return and a 50 yard TD pass at the end of the half.
And this isn't your vanilla Raiders roster. I improved the o-line, d-line, and got luke kuechly and aqib talib. At the team selection screen before the game we were rated an 81 overall. For reference, the Broncos are 82 overall.
Their defense feels great, and all three of my turnovers were well earned - a fumble on a juke, a fumble on a stumble, and a poor throw by Pryor. It also hurt that on the two decent drives I did get going both Pryor and Mcfadden got hurt, ending them right away.
But my pass defense just feels nerfed. Aqib Talib, a 97 overall is just as useless in coverage as my third corner, rated at a 76. Luke Kuechly is getting schooled by Joel Dressen on the regular. I'll finish the game off to see if things maybe balance out.
Edit: I should elaborate. It's not that Peyton feels too good. My guys just can't stay with anybody in coverage. They react what feels like almost full second after the receiver has made their cut.

Good to see you're getting a challenging game. We're still testing with QBA at 100 so it's not set in stone, so obviously these games might blow out a little but we're just trying to get the right balance. From what you posted though it looks extremely promising

Just finished up. Things played a little better in the second half. Peyton had 4 tds and 334 yards on 34 attempts in the first half. In the second he threw 7 more times for just under 100 yards, a td, and a pick. I got in a nice rhythm with Pryor and Reece stepped up big when McFadden got hurt again and left the game, but ultimately, the first half deficit was just too much to overcome.
51-29 Broncos.
Stats
Passing
P. Manning 28/41, 428 yds, 5 TDs, 1 INT
T. Pryor 19/35, 151 yds, 2 TDs, 2 INT
Rushing
K. Moreno 13 att, 48 yds
D. McFadden 10 att, 73 yds
M. Reece 8 att, 64 yds, TD
M. Ball 7 att, 1 yds, TD
T. Pryor 6 att, 48 yds
Defense
T. Branch 8 tak, 1 FF
L. Kuechly, 5 tak, 2 sacks
V. Miller 8 tak, 2 sacks
C. Bailey 4 tak, 2 INT
Also, Taiwan Jones had 3 kickoff returns for 185 total yds, with a long of 104 on the TD run. I don't know though, maybe the Denver special teams were just exhausted from kicking off to me so many times that first half lol.
Overall pretty good though. I had 5 sacks, and none of them were the Mark Sanchez animation, although on 2 of them he moved around in the pocket a little too much, and probably should have gotten rid of the ball.

Yeah I've seen that maybe once or twice in the 3 games I played yesterday. I think it's a better way of seeing a sack than the QB running aimlessly to either sideline though, lol. But we'll definitely look into it, I'd rather him throw that away aswell. If they were blindside sacks then that's cool, I can live with that, but if a guy is coming straight up in his face and he doesn't get rid of it then I dunno.. lol. Maybe Madden isn't programmed like that though, still got to test.

I see you guys are trying to change the blocking with offsides and holding. I think that may be possible, but I personally saw more change by altering the actual run blocking and pass blocking sliders. I'm not sure if it's your philosophy to leave these at Zero thinking that that is lowest of the lows. That was my philosophy for awhile, and/or the blocking would play more to the players' ratings. I have since abandoned that theory and started testing the blocking sliders. I'll tell you what I saw. Anything in the 20s for either runblocking or pass blocking seems to help with blockshed by the defense. What I've also seen with these set in the 20s is that blockers don't always block the best man. While that may sound bad, it actually plays more into realistic blocking imo. In particular, run blocking set 20-25, you will see the FB consistently miss the LB, or run right past him because he is hell bent on blocking the Safety downfield. This allows for greater penetration by LBs and better overall Run D. In some ways, it's unrealistic because you expect him to block the LB, but once again, players miss blocks and I've found this happening in the 20s. With Pass blocking in the 20s, you will see MISSED Blitz pickups. This is actually EXACTLY what I was looking for. You ever see how your RT might magically slide all the way over to the Left side of the line to block a blitzing nickelback (who he probably shouldn't even know exists)? With pass blocking in the 20s, you normally will not see this. Therefore, blitzes will be more effective and you will feel that "holy crap! where did he come from!!!???" moment more often. With blitzing LBs, I've seen the Tackles actually pinch in a little to block what's in front of them, once again missing the blitzer, and BLAM!!! QB is lit up in the backfield! And, as an FYI, I'm seeing this with FS, Holding, and Offsides all set to 70. So, more food for thought. You might want to try a quick play now with all blocking sliders at 20 and see how it looks to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the tip again man. I'll run a quick game with all blocking at 20 and see what happens, probably in the next couple of hours.
