Re: Pitbull's All-Madden Sliders

Ok I tested these sliders (as well as Jay's today and also Professionals)

Titans @ Bills
I quit after a half, but overall the game had a great feeling to it. Buffalo didn't try to rush as much as they probably should've considering that I had like 4 turnovers and had fell behind 24-0 with 5 left to play in the second. The Bills continued to pass. The thing I found great about this was how Buffalo used the clock to control the half. Their first drive was 16 plays, 72 yards, 8 minutes+ of clock!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Samari Rolle got injured and I thought they'd exploit Woolfork out there, but they didn't. I couldn't get them off of the field as they'd convert 3rd down after 3rd down. I liked how I had to mix it up to get them off-balance. McNair did lead them to a couple scores so the game wasn't as bad as you'd think. Buffalo's passing kept me in the game. Bledsoe was like 11-17 when I finished. Henry had 18 carries for 31 yards. So I don't know. I ran the ball pretty effectively to the tune of 4.2/carry. All in all. I had so many turnovers. 17 points of TOs will kill any team. Getting closer Brit.

Smile Re: Pitbull's All-Madden Sliders

Thanks mate. Glad you noticed an improvement. I've been testing and adjusting over many games and I have a new set that I hope will be damn near to what I'm looking for. I just finished one game with the new sliders, I was the Lions and won 35-23 in Houston against the Texans. I know it sounds like a bit heavy on the scoring side but defense was absolutely crucial, the Texans got in my red zone 6 times including four 1st and goals from close range, and they only got in there on the last drive of the game.

This game had everything. A 96 yard kick return , 2 INT, 6 sacks, at least three fumbles, a momentum shifting 103 yard INT return, and realistic stats in every department. Most importantly it felt realistic, if I made a great play good things happened if I messed up I would be punished, but not too much. I never felt like the CPU was cheating and it was certainly the most enjoyable game of Madden I've had yet.

I hope these new sliders stand up to further testing as I'm all tweaked out!

Re: Pitbull's All-Madden Sliders

so is there an even newer version? If so, post, I'll test them later with a full game. I've tested like 3 sets today, and I only played with yours for a half, but I knew what was the problem with the original set, so I quit after noticing the vastly different changes. Post, Post, Post.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Pitbull's All-Madden Sliders

There's been quite a few changes but here is the set that I played the last game with. I need to give them more of a test though to see if they'll end up being any good. Hopefully they will not be too easy for the more skillful players out there.

One more thing. I have noticed that with 11 minute quarters there is always about 120 snaps per game. For example in the last game the Lions had 52, the Texans had 67 =119.

Any testing, feedback, etc is much appreciated.

Re: Pitbull's All-Madden Sliders

Just finished the second game with the new sliders. It generally didn't feel as good as the first. I was the Bengals away against the Steelers. Maddox opened up on me through the air, decimating my D from the start. It particularly pissed me off when Plaxico Burress (spd 91, 92 Acc ) tore past Delta O'Neill (spd 95, 95 Acc ) for a 50 yard TD pass on the opening drive of the game, maybe awareness had something to do with this. I was 14-0 down after the first quarter thinking it was going to be an embarrassing blowout but I came back and the only points the Steelers got in the 2nd half was a TD on their last drive which appears unstoppable in any game as the CPU did exactly the same in my last match up.

Again this game could happen in the real league, remember that the averages are only averages and that teams do get a lot of yards and points on occasion. (Testaverde has 677 yards in two games this season, and there was a game last season where 85 points were scored). However the best offense in the league last year only averaged 30 points a game so I might have to do something to curb the scoring if the next few games produce as many points as the first two. All sliders the same as the Lions game, stats below:

Again everything was pretty spot on with a few exceptions. Maddox went crazy through the air against the poor Bengals D, posting 426 yards but his over-exuberance cost him 5 INT. All pretty outrageous stats. I also scored 27 points in one quarter, again pretty rare but not unheard of. Further testing is needed to glean a measurable average of the games stats over time.
