Can madden break your 360 ?

You are lying through your teeth. Microsoft would never admit failures of certain 360's and they would never tell you a game is a "system killer" or whatever it was you called it.

I agree.Microsoft's Customer service people would never be told to tell callers that some games are a system killer. At most they would tell you to contact the game's publisher (EA, in this case) and describe them the problem.
Saying that MS "told" you this is out and out BS.

I bought one of the early 360's. Played it for about 8 months, most of it Madden (I like pain) and it made my 360 freeze up. This went on for about 2 weeks. Luckily I bought a 1 year warranty at EBGames, called them and exchanged it for a brand new unit, and bought another 1 year warranty. I'm not saying that Madden broke it but I can sympathize with the people having this problem. In my old 360 it really sounded like it was laboring with the game. My new 360 isn't working nearly as hard. I read last night in the new OXM that xbox is repairing them free of charge now because of "higher than expected failures".

I have had a launch 360 poop out as well.And you know what I was doing when it went..Had just downloaded Galaga from Live Arcade..Played the first level.Then it froze.Turned off..Froze again.Then the Red Lights of Death..It happens..It's electronics.

I just don't get everytime a new game comes out, someone buys it, plays it, then their 360 goes, all you read about on any board is "Fantasy Football Manager 2006, Is bad for your 360!"

I feel for anyone that had a 360 poop out on them..It sucks..But I had mine go playing Galaga..So does that make a MS employee tell me on the phone that I shouldn't buy any Live Arcade games, b/c the older 360's can't take it?

It was most likely the Fall update. Quite Frankly, Madden was the last game I played til' the three rings of death.
