Can madden break your 360 ?

I have been thinking this for a while. I have stopped playing Madden because I dont trust it in my 360. The 360 just doesnt sound right when I play it. It just sounds like it is struggling.

how old is your 360? i've heard that the older ones have some issues when playing the newer games. by older, i mean those that are 8 months or older. i can't remember where i read this but i saw it not too long ago because i'm thinking of getting a 360.
