How is progression during Franchise mode?

Does it seem like the CPU controlled QB's make better decisions with the ball?

Does it feel like there's enough of an upgrade to warrant $50?

I have the game for xbox the new skills drills is pretty fun!

Hmm I've loving the new skills drills and the depth of current gen. Of course it's not as pretty as next gen but I love the depth of the game more than anything. I also like the ability to switch the camera cause I have a standard tv and that view in madden next gen is usually cut off for me.

Another new mode si the fantasy challenge where you make up a team and go some sort of challenge. You can use default rosters, a mini draft of current players, or a draft that includes legends teams.

do the players make sideline catches like the do on 360/PS3?

Also, how's the gang-tackling and other animations?

I think I saw some new tackle animations. I don't think it has the supposed gang tackling the next gen version does. What kind of sideline catches are you referring to?
