I hope its (spectator mode) for online play. That would be groundbreaking IMHO. Never had any game done that on next gen. I'm glad Ian and his team is trying to make madden more sim and represent football the way it should be. I pray that presentation and immersion can surpass 2k5 this year, at least come close. I guess will find out in about 2 weeks.
