Really really annoying in game ad just added today!!!

FYI, I noticed a PS3 ad last night. I didn't get the one that popped up from the ticker though. It was on the on-screen scoreboard that pops displays at the end of the quarter. Instead of the EA logo at the top, it was an ad for Protege shoes at K-Mart.

I'm with some of the others here. I don't mind the ads, BUT I you're going to start steaming me ads you need to release the game at a reduced price. I'm sure the CPM EA is charging companies is very high, as this is highly targeted advetising web agencies can't compete with. Therefore they must be raking it in.

Reduce the price of Madden, EA!

Yikes - if that's Ian's attitude, then he might as well tattoo "EA RULZ" on his forehead. I mean hey, if he doesn't mind being a walking billboard, he might as well go the extra mile...

Because that's what pop-up ads in Madden is like - like having a K-Mart ad tattooed on your forehead for a couple extra bucks and some shameless self-advertising.

It's really sad.

I noticed this in my OFFLINE franchise for the first time today and I was livid. Further, after pulling my ethernet cord, the ad continued to pop up, so essentially I cannot get rid of it (perhaps if I rebooted the 360 with the cord pulled).

I paid for this game, and not so my limited screen space could be compromised by a pink ad.

Once again, horrible judgement by EA. Putting ads in the environment is one thing but what's next, commercials in The Extra Point? Oh wait, they already mention Sprint, and elsewhere Snickers. That type of placement is bad enough but the popups must STOP.
