Really really annoying in game ad just added today!!!

Just wanted to post that I do not get these ads. I think if you go under settings and put the banner as infrequent, you will not get it. Thats what I did, and my buddy I play with says he gets it a lot, but I never do.

Boys, I just started getting it today after playing two seasons of franchise. I do not know what triggers it but just DC'ing from the Internet did NOT stop it. And I certainly doubt that settings adjustments affect ads.

They crossed the line with this one.

Since this is going to be commonplace from now on (companies are going to love the extra revenue stream), they could at least let us off a bit and reduce the price of buying Madden to 50 bucks. I'd like to think this was possible, but the industry isn't about fun or quality any more, IMO... it's about the bucks, just like music, TV, movies, etc.

that is incorrect. online trophies, yes. but every other trophy works just fine. i earned a few playing burnout a few days ago with my ps3 disconnected from the net.

btw, i don't even have the game yet, but the ads already annoy me. i saw one vid that had them and it's all i could look at when they popped up. i am a person that cannot stand intrusive advertisements. that's why i only watch tv shows after they've been recorded to dvr. or i just download them off the internet. ads ftl. especially when you are paying for the product.
