Madden 11: Changing teams in franchise mode

Nothing has been added to Franchise Mode. They fixed a couple problems they made with the second patch in Madden 10 and then told us a couple weeks ago to wait another year for them to put a working Franchise Mode into Madden 12.

I wouldn't say it is easy to add it. They have to add the coding to it. We don't know how much coding is envolved in doing this process. Plus them having to go through 10 of thousands of lines of coding just to find the right spot to put aswell is a job in itself. But it would be nice if they would readd that. But it will most likly happen in madden 12 when they redo franchise mode altogether. It just ain't going to happen this year atleast I don't think so. Who knows. I guess we will have to wait and see.

If you have the capability to select user/CPU team control at the beginning of franchise, than I refuse to believe that it would be difficult to add that exact function during franchise. The code is already there; adding this capability during the season/offseason should be a walk in the park for the developers. This isn't rocket science.

As others have stated, this feature would make the game much more enjoyable and would add a HUGE longevity/playability bonus. There is NO reason why it shouldn't be in the game. I understand that they are waiting til '12 to overhaul the franchise mode, but adding this basic feature (which should have been mandatory anyway) would add so much to franchise mode. I can honestly say that it will be the deciding factor as to whether or not I buy the game this year.

I know it might not seem like much to some.But if we could change teams mid franchise ,this could lean me towards a 1st day purchase.
