The ice skating (lateral as well) has got to stop. Looking fwd to someone posting game speed on slow, just to see the difference, and maybe it might appear like less ice skating.

i don't think any of these guys know how to attack the edge with the passing game. Every pass is forced to the middle with a post route.

Phil Frazier on Twitter, that's where I got a lot of my information and he was very helpful and for the most part not evasive when I asked him about things. I'm kinda disappointed that he is leaving, he seemed to really want to hear how the community felt about things. Another thing, all the people that I know who were at E3 or the community day event said that the speed of the game felt perfect and like real football, didn't seem fast to them at all. I think part of what causes the game to feel faster is because there is no suction now. I am holding out judgment until I actually get to play the game, but from what I've heard from people who have actually played it, they love the way the game feels and plays.

Until Madden allows these types of throws, the best passing options are almost always over the middle - be it slant, post, drag or in routes. I've never had much success with outside passes in Madden, unless the defenders completely blew their coverage. They've always been able to cover too much ground too quickly and jump too high in the air.

a question i would ask though, is the coverage in madden too tight, while agree passes need more arc/height.... the issue of defenders covering too much space and the issue of defenders being clued to WR is an issue IMO...
