Its a complete waste of time. I ignore them totally. Would rather have the main page show standing, leaders, a few stories..Twitter thing is beyond pointless. Do miss the halftime show where the show stats and a few big plays.

Now for the record, I'd like to see a highlight show as well. If done correctly it could be a great addition. However, at this point if I had to choose between the twitter feed and a highlight show, I'm going with the stories every time. They just add so much more to the league, in my honest opinion.

I think the twitter feed is cool, but how do you see more details about it??

For example, in my franchise, I got a twitter saying 'Patriots add depth by acquiring P. Thomas!'

A couple of issues:

1) Now I have to go to the Patriots roster, like 3 menus away to see who 'P. Thomas' is... I mean, I knew it was PROBABLY Pierre Thomas, but there was no specific mention in the twitter feed about who it was exactly.

2) How did they 'acquire' him? Did the Saints release him and Pats sign him? Did they trade for him? There is no damn transactions screen. I can't see who the Pats traded for him. I can't see if the Saints released him. All I know is he's now a Patriot. Awesome. Magic.

The news feed and twitter thing is great, but you should be able to press X or something on a story to reveal the details... or there should at least be a place to see transactions...

Damn, I miss franchise mode. CCM is pretty crappy.

The only thing I miss about franchise mode is editing and the tranactions page. Other than that CCM is better than the stale, old, unexciting franchise mode that I couldn't even get through a year of the past few years despite enjoying the gameplay. Kudo's EA on such a great mode.

Hopefully, games like NBA 2k and The Show follow suite or at least revamp their franchise modes. I can only play the same mode for so many years before I get that "been there done that" feeling, you know?
