The gameplay looks the same...the player models do look upgraded though. I'll probably pick this up.

I wouldn't put any weight on the vids. They're probably made with rookie level and their only purpose is to show some "kool" big pass plays. Plus when you get the game you have sliders and so on.

But I'm sure Madden 2005 gameplay is practically the same as 2004. They've obviously focused on these franchise things and now online play. One thing that might be big is the new defensive pursuit. This could mean that Madden isn't Big Play Football any more and that I won't have to cry on my knees in front of the TV.

I think the CORE gameplay will be the same but the promised changes on defense will hopefully end those moments you talk about.

I know I would yell at my TV at least once a game due to the big play factor
