Im hoping the cubs are good, Cub fans are not fun to be around when their team sucks. and I live in Iowa so I am around a lot of them.

I do too, but looking at some of the young guys we have in the farm system we might have some promising years ahead of us

Yeah I really hope Jackson and Carpenter see the light of the bigs this year. Jackson looks like he will need to put in some more work in the minors though. I'm looking forward to how Starlin and Colvin bounce back after a pretty good rookie season. I'm really interested to seeing how Pena will perform... I'm hoping he will play like Beltran did for the Red Sox last year.

If the cubs have some good players like: Pena, Ramirez, and Wood. we might be seeing a playoff appearance in 2011 or 2012

Actually..........Colvin is the starter in right field based off of early comments, and Fuk is going to share time at all 3 OF positions as the 4th OF. They have also stated that Cashner has a starting 5 spot, but its his to lose.

They also mentioned that Colvin is the back-up 1st basemen behind Pena.
