Lincecum came back strong from his first start, not surprising but nice to see.

Pablo is hitting great this spring, 2 more doubles yesterday!

As far as Zito goes, to me he is nothing more than a borderline 5th starter.

I read Zito is no lock for the 5th spot and Suppan has a legitimate shot at taking it from him.

What is Zito's velocity at now anyways.

Well in 09 i believe he hovered around 84 mph but seems to me last year he was better maybe as high as 87-88.

I suppose anything is possible but if Suppan makes the club as 5th starter which reliever do you leave off? Then Zito has to go to the pen? Can't see it happening.

Zito will be on the club that's a given and with his lack of control he would be even worse as a reliever. The bullpen would also be weaker and that was a big part of the team last year.
