Yeah, they will pick right up, and in a month all this will be a non-issue.

The Sox are only 4.5 games out of first when you look at it. Not anything to be concerned about.

This little streak, plus the almost come from behind win Friday night to kick off the streak is just what they needed to relax in the club house and settle in.

I am sure it will be now business as usual moving forward.

3 straight good starts. With Varitek likely catching him from now on, I think he could start putting up 2007 numbers.

His first start really wasn't that bad either. Only 3 earned runs. Still not too shabby.

But the last 3 have been ace like dominance that he used to be, and what you see from guys like Halladay.

That type of win last night is just what the Sox needed to get the chemistry going.

Bruins OT win as well

That Lester fella ain't too bad either.

It's starting to slowly come together and the pitching is smoothing out quite a bit. The fact that they've been winning with such inconsistent offense is encouraging as well, since they're bound to get on track eventually.

And a big hat tip to Jed Lowrie for killing it so far this year. It's good to see him have some success after fighting through so much health wise.

How about Salty not being able to catch in the 8th, and that one that he lost between his legs that got marked as a wild pitch! Too bad there isn't a stat called ****ty catching.... lol

So...apparently this Matsuzaka dude can pitch okay also.

Oh, and that Varitek guy...keep trotting him out there...he seems to really make a difference for the pitchers. We should make him our Captain or something.

Captain Varitek. That had a familiar ring to it!
