Well the countdown begins. Color me overly optimistic, but I can't wait for the next few years. I think all of us fans realize that this year is probably gonna suck. But, it's baseball, and I can't wait to get out to Kauffman.

All I can really do is read Joe Posnanski and hope that what everyone think will come true, actually does!

So...yeah. Only four games in, and given that it's the Royals they'll probably lose 10 in a row here shortly, but it's still fun.

Let's throw out predictions on when the Royals' record will dip below .500 and see who gets the closest.

Ok, after the Greinke trade (being a Brewers fan) I became a Royals fan as well, with all the guys KC got from the Crew. And being a big fan of prospects I just love some of the minors like Moustakas, Hosmer, Montgomery, etc. But being a huge Jeffress fan, I was just curious what real KC fans, or the media of KC think of him?

He's fun to listen to in interview. Haven't seen him pitch enough to gauge much than that though.
