I don't like that he does it and I hope that it's a habit he can break in the near future. Like you said though, it works.

Last night was a good game for all of our youngsters. Hosmer, Moose, Duffy and Escobar all had a hand in that win last night. Nice to see. Duffy still needs to work on the BB though.

From Poz. So depressing.

Royals, after fun little 10-4 start, have played .344 baseball and are now two games up on worst record in AL. Sigh, indeed.

Sucks, but I expected this to be a close to 100-loss team so I'm not too torn up about it. It's all about getting things in line for next year and the year after.

We traded Wilson Betemit? Huh, I really have been working a lot if I didn't hear about that one.

Yes, to the Tigers for "Generic Left-Handed Teenager and Vaguely Intriguing Backup Catcher", as one of my friends from college who writes a Cardinals blog put it.

Jeeze, we couldn't get something that's a little closer to Major League ready? Isn't that out goal, to get somewhat close to Major League ready pitching?

Not for a guy who had only played 15 games since May 31st, and had a .170/.204/.277 line in 49 PA over that time frame. Perfect definition of selling low imo.

I totally get that we got what we should have from him, but it just seems like we've traded for people like that so many times before. Idk, it's just old.
