Just wanted to let everyone know(who didn't already) that signed free agents have to be on the team for 60 days before they can be traded. Found this out after being saddled with Oswalt and his bad contract and wanting to trade him every day after the first couple weeks and some poor starts from him.

Cubs get:
SS Theriot
C Whiteside
2B "D" Potential

Giants get:
LF Soriano

If it is unfair who got the bad end of the deal? and is this realistic? Im trying to be realistic for this Franchise

before i answer, i need to know what's Soriano's contract.....in baseball terms, the Cubs got the raw end of the deal but if they're out of playoff contention and Soriano has a asinine contract like IRL, they'd be more then willing to shed salary...but with that said u gave up a bag of balls to get him....if he's doing well for the Cubs, the least u could do is give up a B prospect or a couple of C's
