I'd be interested in seeing the write up if you have a link!

Your first question: The first roster released will just have the real minor league players with their real ratings and potential. Subsequent rosters after that, will come from people who are officially affiliated with OSFMs rosters and Knight, and will re-rate pitchers/batters and the like. Re-rates of MLB players usually take another month so you're looking at early/mid May if you want the most comprehensive OSFM roster.

Second question: I have no idea, doesn't seem right though...

I particularly like the 25 man roster Knight does. When I start a franchise, I control all 30 teams and keep the opening day lineups as they are in real life on opening day. There is more to be said for Knight's roster, but to put it simply, it's a great idea and he deserves much credit for doing it.

I'm confused by your question but I'll give it a shot.

The OSFM rosters won't magically appear on your PS3. You'll have to go online to the roster vault, download them, and then when you start a game/season/franchise load them as the roster you want to use.

thanks for the reply, I look forward to the full rosters =)

i just double-checked. my default roster has Verlander's velocity a D
seems very weird as he's known to throw 100+ late in ballgames

looking through, many of the best pitchers have a D or C....strange

Re: Somewhat new. Raving over "OSFM"

Re: the velocity question. What was told to me is that it's an average of all the pitches.

Meaning if verlander throws hella slow offspeed stuff the 97 mph fastball might not matter.

Just go into the edit screen and make sure his FB is where you want it
