Yep, sticking to what I said before... Thursday the 30th, if not earlier.

RWings that'd be great! If you want to run a season and check the league leaders in saves at the end that would be great... I'm referring to last year's MLB stats for a target point, but I want to see if the issue with too many saves is in the game's franchise mode or if it's in the rosters.

Thanks!

I did, however, run a test franchise. The only number I'm having problems with currently is saves. There were at least 15 guys with 40 saves or more, which is ridiculous considering only 7 guys accomplished that in the MLB each of the last 2 years. It isn't the closers' attributes, because their ERAs aren't crazy good or anything. I also thought they may just be staying too healthy, but lowering durability didn't seem to help either.

Once again, I'm reaching out to you guys for thoughts. Does anybody have any idea what I could do to fix this?

Also, if somebody wanted to quick sim a franchise with the stock rosters, that would be great. Maybe it's possible that it's just a problem within the game's franchise logic rather than the rosters.
Tomorrow, early morning I can run a test sim with osfm v1 default rosters and another test sim with the fantasy draft team I have going which I also used osfm roster for. I'll post up season end statistics for both.

Re: Fictional Rosters: MLB 2015 The Show

Its the franchise settings. Idk why scea changed it. I have done alot of seasons in franchise and season, and every year at least 10 usually more. Closers gave 40 plus saves. This range includes closers rated in the 60's, as low as a 61 rated draftee. This years offensive numbers seem down and defensive up.

Good to know it's not me! (Good for you guys too because that's one less thing I may possibly have to try to "fix.")

Thanks! Definitely need to question scea on this one... Why change that part of franchise when it was accurate in past years?

Re: Fictional Rosters: MLB 2015 The Show

One test sim for tonight, 8 guys with 40+ saves. 6 with 45+ and 3 over 50+ saves.
Latroy Hawkins and Jason Grilli where the 65 OVR guys that made that list, anyone else was at least 84 or higher OVR. This was using osfm v1 roster.
Like it was stated before, just seems to be a problem with the sim stats there. Probably no way we can really fix it with editing.

Cannot wait for this!

I'm currently doing a fictional franchise carried over from MLB 14, with justmunc rosters. Fictional rosters are always so fun.

MLB players' contracts are nearly all set... I don't want to get all your hopes up too much, but I would say that these will probably be released a day or two earlier than anticipated, so long as the testing goes well.
