So it's looking like you have to use stubs to maintain your attributes? It's hard to keep up with everything when you avg. 50-100 points a game.

I average more like 30-60 points a game, and I just a platoon player.

I pretty much NEED to be sent down to AAA so I can rake and keep my attributes up.

Yeah, that sounds... pretty accurate, actually. Only thing you can do is pray they send you back down for more experience.

It sounds accurate that a 25-year-old player would get faster-slower-faster-slower-faster-slower? Lol. Not at all.

My RTTS is pretty much Billy Hamilton at this point. All speed, nothing else. But that doesn't mean you expect Hamilton to get slower all the sudden just because he learns how to hit.

Accurate that you're not getting enough experience at the majors, and you're getting rusty because of it and need more time in the minors. You hear managers talking about sending promising players back to the minors so they can play everyday instead of languishing on a major league bench. That's what this is, an attempt to show that in the game.

One question that I need to ask that I'm confused about by reading everyone's concern is how you have to build your stat back up as it's falling.

I haven't had to do it but from what it sounds by reading your guys posts is this what's happening...

(I'm guessing on these numbers)

Say Speed from 98 ---> 99 = 400 pts. And then when you start going down does the number remain 400 to upgrade?

So say you go from 98 ---> 95...does it cost 400 pts. to get back up to 96 or the same number it was before? (say 350)

Re: Help with stat degradation in RTTS at high level.

How long does it take you guys to get the yellow/red degradation arrows? I'm wondering if age/potential factors into how long those take to show up. I am only a few months in with my 18 year old, A potential guy and it took 2 months before I even saw the yellow arrow telling me I needed to upgrade that stat soon or it'd start to go down. I'm wondering if that 2 month timeframe would be different if I were a lower potential or if I were older?

Also, how long once it's yellow do you have before it actually starts to decline? I didn't wait around to find out.

It costs whatever it took to get it from 95 to 96. Then it will go up by one level.
