Have any of you experienced players from other teams, changing numbers during the offseason. For example, the twins called up Byron Buxton, on opening day, he was wearing number 7, I went to go see what number Mauer was wearing, and he was at 13 for some reason.

Then I was playing the rays, and kevin kiermaier was wearing 44 instead of number 39. Anyone else experience this, I find it very odd.
I've seen it in my carryover franchise as well. What happens is the player that has the higher ratings gets to keep the number. For instance, in my franchise Wade Davis (73OVR) went from 17 to 18 because the Royals brought up a Rookie catcher who was #17 and an 76 OVR.

I'm 22-11 in my Yankees 'chise, up 2.5 games ont he Orioles. I was on a decent roll to start out the month of May until the O's took 3 out of 4 from me. I'm hoping to rebound against the lowly Rays and the struggling KC Royals to end out the Mid-May road trip.

Damn, sucks to hear man. I had stamina issues in the last round of playoffs I did with my Yankees. Lost in seven games to the A's and perpetually had to get guys warming in the bullpen by the 6th inning.

Hope you can rebound after a tough game 1 loss...then again as a Yankees fan, maybe not

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

I am currently 16-13 with the Orioles. Travis Snider was hurt for the first month of the season, but injuries past that have been minor. My biggest surpise has been Evereth Cabrera who is now leading off for me after playing his way into my everyday lineup. The problem is that it was at the sacrifice of Jonathan Schoop who is now in AAA for seasoning.

I'm 20th in BA (.249) but 8th in Runs (119). I'm 5th in ERA (3.01, led by Miguel Gonzalez's 1.73) but I've given up 33 Home Runs.

Here is my conundrum: I'm seriously considering trading J.J. Hardy. I've gotten offers for him (the most noticeable being Nelson Cruz from the Mariners) but I'm just not sure. He's spectacular defensively, but the drop off to Cabrera at SS and Schoop at 2B isn't that bad.

I could definitely use to boost, as my DH/Corner OF's are a mix of Travis Snider, David Lough, Steve Pearce (who has been a beast), Delmon Young, and Jimmy Paredes (who is edited up to a 70, with Contact of 68 and Power of 55).

Any ideas?

Well that lineup change sure got something going. Dyson did exactly what we needed and it carried over to the rest of the team. Got on base with a walk to start the bottom of the 1st. Got himself to 2nd with a stolen base. Then let the 3-4 hitters get him home. 3 runs total for him. He will start again game 3. Not sure if Cain or Morales will sit. If its Cain obviously Dyson will play CF. If it Morales then Rios would go to DH with Dyson in center and Cain in right.

Chris Young did pretty well. Forced to start him due to that stupid stamina bug. He only went 5 but gave up just 2 runs which is what i was looking for. Would have liked Guthrie to go longer than 1 1/3 so i didnt have to use Herrera though.

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Just finished my first season with the Twins and Chris Davis and Clayton Kershaw just retired due to injury (Dislocated ankle and Torn Rotator Cuff respectively).

So that's kind of frustrating.

I always save the day before advancing to the off season to fix these kind of things if they happen.
