That is why Ventura had a grand-slam single in the playoffs vs. Braves in '99. His run did not count because he didn't score, so it reverted to only THE winning run counting. Game has had it wrong for years, allows multiple people to score (as did MLB in its early existence) without a HR being hit.

I have never had this happen, I've hit plenty of walk off singles and had it end as soon as the run crosses the plate. In fact, as the ball is being thrown in the players and game just stops and the ball just continues on.

first thing i notice, just by doing the first game you have to play during install is I'm so happy they brought back Stride batting!

Played all day and I have to say so much better than last years game. Wish they did a little better with the off season. Maybe change the draft around. Off season stuff is pretty much the same as last year. Scouting is the only thing that looks different. I might be wrong, but this is my early impression.

I want to post my impressions, please note: I can't post a pic, but if you need verification, Bullit can do it, because I'm friends with him on ps4, so he can see it. Now on to my thoughts: I love where commentary is going! Sounds much more smooth. One thing about gameplay I find odd, the pitch speed on max seems slower. I find myself having to hold back a bit even on heat. Not sure if I'm just too quick, or the max speed got slowed down.

I think it has more to do with the timing window than the actual speed. Adjust your timing slider and see if anything changes.
