Re: Watching MLB; If "This" Would Have Happened In The Show Thread

Just started my Cardinals franchise, finished up first series against the brewers. im off to a 1-3 start, that's fine I don't have to win every game. But what gets me is yelich has had a homerun in every game so far. 4 games. 4 Homer's. OK mlb I get he was the mvp but come on man, game just feels super scripted this year.

Please fix the user control and consistency pitching sliders being stuck at 0 when I play as the Cubs.

Thanks.

The regression formula in this game is ridiculous.

Signed Andrew Miller in the offseason in my Cardinals franchise - he was a 91 overall. Now two weeks into the season he’s already regressed to 86 and I can’t get anyone out with him!

Sucks that SDS nukes these guys’ attributes as soon as they turn 34.

Injuries are broken and way overdone in this game. I’m not even 10 games into the season in my Yankees franchise and I already have 11 players on the IL! Ridiculous. 3 of my SP’s including my ace, one of my top RP, my starting 3B, a CF, two SS’s, an OF that’s one of my best players, and that same OF that’s always hurt anyway. How is that realistic?

Don’t even get me started on the garbage sim engine in this game. Cubs are 1-6 and Red Sox are 2-7! Would never happen irl. 2 of the best teams in baseball playing like the Marlins, terrible. If that’s not enough, CPU logic and budget system is broken too. CPU never signed Kimbrel, one of MLB’s best closers! And he’s only 30! High rated players should NOT still be sitting in the FA list during the season.

Franchise is overall just broken, please get these issues fixed ASAP SDS! Won’t be playing anymore until then.

Re: Watching MLB; If "This" Would Have Happened In The Show Thread

Hate to break character, but I've been watching baseball highlights like crazy. I do it at the beginning of every year, asking myself "can I do this in the Show? Is this what playing the game feels like?" It's part of my process for building sliders.

A lot of people are complaining about fielding this year, saying there are to many errors, meanwhile I'm asking "Does this errors slider go above 10?"

Seriously!

It's obvious SDS just wanted to get more sales so they make these bad teams look good. Probably so DD players who like the O's buy more stubs or something.

And I mean, really. Chris Sale with a 8 ERA right after he signs an extension? Like, at least the game could be subtle with it's rigging. Not like "oh you signed your ace, now he's AAA fodder...k thx "

And then the audacity of Price, an AL pitcher, getting an RBI, it's like...stop making fun of my Red Sox...

But Betts, one of the best outfielders in the game, can't make a simple play? I shouldn't have to use sliders to make a routine catch be, you know, routine...

If it keeps up, I will not only boycott MLB19, I'll never touch this stupid series again. I want to play real baseball, not arcade 8-bit baseball with 3-D models!
