The frustrating part is that both of those can be pretty successful. This mode really doesn’t deserve much attention if they aren’t going to fix 5v5 gameplay. It seems pretty clear they are only focused on The City/MyCareer and everything else is going to be much of what it’s always been. I don’t buy into this “Pro Play Technology” fixing the issues that have plagued 5v5 for years now.

It seems you wanted what I wanted back in 2K17 for them to split the mode into 3 categories - Arcade for users who want that arcade feel

Mixture which is right now

Then full simulator style like exactly in the NBA but only time will tell if they truly want that style as people want different things.

Lastly this mode doesn’t offer any money for them whereas Mycareer / MyTeam brings in a lot of money users are always ready to drop additional money just to level up.

Haven’t posted here in a while.. this game gets worse as you rank up leagues. I was chillin in College and was actually enjoying the game. Now i’m in NBA and all the dumb shxt that would happen in previous 2k’s started happening again. Missing open layups, loose balls were impossibly recovered by opponent, bad passes… i can’t express how many bad passes there are that aren’t stolen. It felt rigged again. This game’s made for arcade not basketball purists.

I learned my lesson. I stay in the bottom parts of the league on purpose now. I need that balance place of my opponent knowing nothing to my opponent knowing the game. While the other level is My opponent knows every cheesy thing in the book.

I really believe this **** gets rigged after you level up man �� missing open layups, the ai defense literally does NOTHING except foul, tipped passes just magically fall into my opponents hands. Especially against the ‘17 warriors… i gotta pour my ****ing soul out just to barely scratch a win by 3. Got shawn livingston greening 3s and all the other bs i named above lol this **** is so trash man. The free throw disparity is atrocious too. I have 24 more points in the paint, shot half as many 3s as my opponent, and only shot one more free throw than my opponent??? Why doesn’t the ai of my opponents ever just randomly clobber me when i take it to the rim? That **** happens against me all the time since that’s all my ai teammates know how to do

Well!!! Finally hit the 1,000 mark. Saying good bye to 23. Been removed for a min. Game kinda bored me this year. It’s amazing how many people really don’t know how to play the game of basketball. Pretty much the same off ball/zone mess. No real strategy involved.

I do gotta say, the best 2K I’ve played as far as on ball defense goes. Phenomenal! That along with the shooting (I hope they didn’t adjust it too much). Separated the real from the fake

Check you guys out on that 2k24. Hopefully they showed us PNO gamers some love (I doubt it )

Ofc everything is the same. I struggled to shoot my first two games. Then I went into the settings and found a setting called shot timing visual cue and changed it to set point. Its probably the same setting as late, very late, etc. from last year. After changing it to set point, my shooting is on a different level. I can pull off any shot I want to now. Had a game where I hit about 4 straight 3s with PG off of pull ups and coming around PnR and pulling with no hesitation.

So when you set it to set point what are you looking for when you shoot ??


Also, can you dashboard ??
