Yeah played with the 6ers against the Celtics and I shot 29% I couldn’t get no open looks to save my life. On superstar difficulty. First qtr was cool but after that it was impossible

I'm just worried that they won't correct this at all or even notice because they are so heavily focused on my players.

It’s frustrating as hell. I can’t even score 90+ points on 12 minute quarters.. It’s hard to get opened, every shot is contested!

I'm nervous to even TRY All-Star because if history is any indicator, the easier you go on difficulty, the more paint mashy things can become... especially since I'm playing h2h, it becomes way too easy to lean on just trying to get it down low to your bigs (even ones with little offensive game) and just flipping whatever up and converting consistently.

But I'll give it a shot and see how it all plays out.

So. There are a few ways to get off jumpers vs the cpu on hof after a little more testing.

1. The step backs and turbo with right stick jumpers creat space. These shots are harder to time and green that regular shots but they will get you a low contest.

2. Change of direction stop and pops. The cpu defenders are always flying around the court, and mirroring your stick/button input. However, when you are dribbling and change directions. There is a brief moment when you first stop where the defender has stopped his momentum. At that exact moment is when you have to get the shot off. I have been able to hit jumpers at a decent rate that way.

Will a global mass reduction of Perimeter D and/or Contest attribute help in this area?

I'm pretty sure there is a way around this on any difficulty level. But we shouldn't always have to look for ways around things especially when few days ago we didn't.

Its not like we want a major shift on something, just revert it back to where it was originally. Which was still challenging but fun

Re: Perimeter Defense Seems Way Too Tight - Smothering

Ok so I might have figured things out a bit (for now) After moving the difficulty to pro and still getting blown out by 30, I was about to shelve this game already!

Then I noticed that most if not all of my players were fatigued after a quarter. Their stamina would be drained for the rest of the game, leading to them being slow and having no energy to get open, or attack the basket.

So I went into the sliders and INCREASED the user stamina from 50-60, and then DECREASED fatigue rate from 50-45. I left both of those sliders at default for the CPU.

I fired up the game on PRO difficulty to test this out, and sure enough I started to get open shots and creating chances while driving to the net.
I put up 60 points in the first half, before the change I would reach that number in the 4th quarter!!

Here is my first half stats.
