The rebounding looks nice...am loving the ride along side on defense and the collisions....

But the drop ball i saw made me cringe a bit

Let's get real here, most of the passes we see in the crappy run and gun play we've seen should either go out of bounds or cause the players to travel. Human beings cannot accurately pass in any direction at any velocity. Even LeBron can't do some of the stuff we see. This is some Superman ish.

On the other side of the spectrum I can see that the floaty 10 foot passes to open guys still exist. They have no business being there.

Another criticism I have is that I can still see post players being able to just shove their defender out of the way, or the defender being moved so that the post player can complete their scoring animation. There NEEDS to be contact. Right now, I don't know if it exists.

The transition defense, and defensive rotation still looks awful like in 2k16.

defenders LEAVING their man to swap assignments make absolutely no sense, im talking about the defender guarding the ball handler RUNNING AWAY, 8 meters to switch. Cpu defenders scrambling when its unnecessary. If the first guy back on defense just picks up the player with the ball, a lot of this stuff wouldnt be happening. The cpu's spacing awareness in transition offensively looked bad also.

Passes are still slow, not noticing any speed and smooth transition they talked about...fast breaks will probably be a dream forever. The collisions were nice, but other than that, not getting my hopes up.
