The great thing about these sets is how low input lag is while gaming in HDR. I believe it's the lowest out of all sets now. The vizio P series is doing really bad as far as input lag and it seems like the HDR10 update on the vizios is very bad as everyone who owns that tv says NBA2K17 looks washed out and bad.

Which Firmware update do you have I read on others forums that Samsung is sending out updated Firmware to some TVs but not all of them at the same time.

For those with 4K tvs with HDR capability....what settings are you using? I have a Samsung ks8000 and initially it looked washed out but I've tweaked and got it looking a lot better but definitely open to suggestions because id like it to look as good as possible

I have the same TV but even with tweaks I think the colors are more vibrant with it off I too would love to try some suggestions for the best HDR settings for gaming not movies

I meant Natural Mode not dynamic
movie mode is best if you want reference accuracy

if you are use to burn retinas dynamic or neutral then it will be hard to adjust to movie mode but stick with it and you wont go back

Check Rtings.com I'm using their movie settings. I've been using movie on my other sets too so it's almost impossible for me to use the other overly bright and saturated color settings. Once you use movie after a while you'll never be able to use anything else.

HDR in retail release

As said above go to rtings.com to view if your TV fully supports HDR and what settings they recommend for your TV.

The new Vizio P series has one of the lowest (i.e. Best) input lag readings for gaming, but I think you have to use the HDMI 5 port on the TV to get those results.

Yea I had that tv and returned it and kept the Samsung ks8000. The vizio is low input lag for SDR gaming at 17ms and that's only on HDMI #5. Sadly HDMI port 5 doesn't allow HDR and the other ports 1-4 is 34ms for SDR and 65ms for HDR gaming which was unacceptable to me. On AVS forums all are complaining that HDR games are looking washed out and bad. Looks like vizio's HDR 10 update wasn't good.
