I am having one unlucky year with NBA 2k. After having non stop issues trying to get 2 expansion teams in my gm I gave up and decided to just add one. Start at the off season and get thru all the different events which were a blast BTW. After a good 2 hours I'm almost ready to move onto my first season but 1 last thing to do. Andrew Wiggins needs to be traded for. I sell the farm for him but whatever he's my favorite player. Then I go into roster to see him in my fancy uniform I made and he's gone. Go into player search and he's not found. Anyone else experience this? Am I missing something or is he really just gone? Man if I have to start again I may cry. I've put in easily 20 hours of this game and haven't even played a full game.

Weird, I messed around for quite a bit with expansion the other night and didn't run into anything like this when moving players around. That's a total bummer though.

So far so good for me. I played the opening game to my Blazers MyGM and although I lost against the Suns, I actually enjoyed it. Both teams left the floodgates open on defense, but the game as a whole flowed smoothly.

So much to look forward to in regards to MyGM...


I wasn't overly sold on the shotstick when I first read about it but the results - both negative and positive - are very satifying. The amount of control we now have of the ball-handler is nice although nothing too new if you played alot of Live 10.

Lighting has improved and is one of the many improvements i've cried for over the years. Menu's are clean and easy to navigate; in-game overlays (play-calling) on the other hand, have been made complicated for no apparent reason.

The soundtrack is decent enough although a couple of tracks have already been permanently muted.

It's been a really positive experience so far but my concerns echo some of what's already been said:

- quiet crowds
- quiet shotclock
- some graphical downgrades
- etc, etc...

Can't wait to restart MyGM and really put some time into the mode.

Here's the other thing happening to me. If I try and add two expansion teams I get unable to save errors or if it does work the game jumbles all the custom stuff up. In the first photos are what I made and in the third is what happens. My scorers table images are gone. My logos changed to Seattle and my uniforms are a mix of what I made and Seattle. Anyone else having trouble with more than one created team? I'm on Xbox one

I do like the game quite a bit. The control feels awesome, and the responsiveness of the control is different from any type of 2k before this particular one.

I almost feel like the default game is pretty sim this year. Need to make coaching adjustments during the timeout, for sure though, otherwise the CPU will eventually break your defense.

I think the new shooting mechanic is a nice change of pace for people like me who struggled with timing the jumper by eyeballing it. And it was worse when the feedback would flat out lie. The dribbling I really struggled with at first, but letting go of the RT stick changed it all. I was a turbo junkie and did not even know it!

The cons? I despise the new in game quick menus. God freaking awful. Its ok for changing sets quick, but subbing through the quick menu is a pain in the ***. Why even change that at all? Oh, and the time out screen is garbage as well. I just pause the game, no point in bothering with that screen.

I have not seen a ton of the weird stuff yet. I should mention that I am strictly a Play Now CPU and MyLeague/MyGM player.I have seen the weird pick animation where you get stuck on a player getting sucked off the court. Not fun.

Overall, its a 9/10. Fun, feels different. Not perfect.

The good news is I figured out how to upload teams to the share. Just testing now but it seems like it works if you add expansion teams this way.
