I'd chalk this up to CPU being completely OP. We know this already. It's rebounds, steals, shot clock cheese, you think they wouldn't do this too?

Who ever mentioned the rebounding thing is exactly right tho. If my teammates are about to miss and I'm not in position for the board I couldn't get past my man with a dump truck. If the shot is going in most times I get into the lane and they don't care.

I honestly just start getting back instead of fighting into the paint anymore.

This is a by-product of latency online. The flight of the ball is determined by how you release the shot (e.g. very late releases miss short vs. very early releases miss long). When there's lag, the information for how the ball should behave on a given shot might come through after the ball is already in flight so it needs to correct itself in mid-air to matchup with the user's original input.
