NBA 2k17 for Xbox one freeze on startup screen

Having same issues here for the last month. No word from 2k if they are going to fix it.

Long story short. It became a problem, since the last patch. The only solution is really to wait. Don't know what's the variable that determines how long you wait. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes, and sometimes it's more than five minutes.

This happens to me almost every time I play. Very annoying to have to keep fixing my settings, and wait 20 minutes for the update prompt after clearing reserved space. I just turned off my Xbox. No time for this. Is this going to be fixed any time soon?

Yeah this is beyond ridiculous. I prefer to play it on X1 due to the controller but I may have to fire it up on The Pro

So now every other time I load the game, i have to clear cache to get it working. This is getting RIDICULOUS! Any word on time frame or a fix? I shouldn't have to do this just to get the game to load.

Very annoying..Have you guys been experiencing crashes to the xbox one home screen during 2k17? I've had this happen 2-3 times in the middle of editing a roster and lost all of my work. This started happening a week or two ago. Make sure you guys save after every trade or player/team edit you make to avoid this.

Yes, at the different stages of the start up screen is where I experience all my crashes or more like freezes. It's either at the screen shot of the " NBA Logo's" or the " Montage of Chris Paul or various superstars". It just freezes and refuses to load.
So then I go to "Clear Cache" and reboot everything...
- what's weird is I usually have to make a new character ( just
take whatever they give you and name it)
- Then I give then I wait for the sync which seems to time out most
of the time, so I then restart it and wait for the "Update Message
that Pops Up on bottom corner on Screen"
- That's when it reloads everything back to normal and I can get
back to playing My League.
This has been happening more then half the times I boot up the game and try to play. I have never lost any files and I only play My League, but I haven't seen any other complaints regarding this issue while searching the internet, except for the very few here... so what should I do?

Are they going to patch this? Getting a bit ridiculous.
