This was quite a problem in 2K17. Most close shots that were banked were nothing but net. You don't have the "is it going in or not" moments. This is why I said I was hoping for more ball/rim physics.

Anyways. As long as this video isn't distorted/stretched vertically in any way, these shorter shorts have done wonders in making the players' legs look longer....something I was praising Live for a little earlier.

Body types look good here . Also dribbling looks fluid. I saw a few loose balls that did not go OUT of bounds.

Look at the following very interesting post regarding "footplant technology." I've decided to put the same link into my signature because I think it's an important advancement that sports game could surely use. Stuff like this always seem to get glossed over, not a lot of response to that thread. I just found out about it through a search for "footplant and video games."

Someone should bump that thread when 2k18 actually release. I'm going to wait until I am physically playing 2k18 to see how it goes. Yes, I can see the issues with footplant already in these leaked 2k18, but still I'm going to wait it out.

Until recently i found this video that (i will try to attach, hopefully make it!) the moment i've seen was the moment i've thought NBA 2K and its salvation for next years off of clunky movements and i'm sure devs are pretty much aware as they're in the business themselves yet i wanted all of you to take a look of this new technology how fluid the movement can be and 'already is' with it and with this not only NBA 2K but a lot of the gaming universe may have a better future to my understanding. So i hope that 2k devs starting from Jerson Sapida whom i think is in charge of footplanting etc. (signation) will have a look at the new tech here and us players can get an opinion of it as well. I'm sure devs always look out new tech in gaming yet; maybe i thought i can bring about for them here to see if they haven't.

Just because somebody plays park doesn't mean they are casuals. They play the game probably more than us. These dudes know how to play 2k. Just in a different way.

Movement looks fluid If I want to make that subtle move to the left I can get it done.

They move like they're on ice. Lol. There's no way the actual game looks that bad.

The graphics are gorgeous. Vibrant, glossy court. I like it.

Hard to tell how good the AI is when these guys are manually moving every defender out of position.

But the players move like they have magnets under them. It doesn't look natural. Especially the defenders. Too much sliding. Way too much sliding. You're not supposed to be sliding on the court like that.

Peep the dribbling though. Looks quick and smooth.

The baselines are nicely populated with photographers etc. Looks good.
