Oh forgot to say good ole days with no patches you buy it,and that's it.

Do you think now they can rush games..have bugs..and ship it now because they know they can fix via patches..?

I was so into gaming I was ordering games before they came to the USA..was getting them from Japan for 90$ genesis.. actually shaving the sides of the cartridge slot to make the cartridge fit..the Japanese cartridges.

One other thing. .remember every month waiting for the newsstand to get EGM and gamespot. . Just to see photos of a game..forget demos..previews of games that would be out 6 months from now.

One thing offbeat.,why has it been since the newer generation of systems..that the games usually come to the U.S at the same time now.. it used to be 6 months for Japan. .then the U.S...

Only thing that was excluded was sports games, yes I even bought one in Japanese because that was the best SIM at the time.

Memories................oh memories...........

Devs started to change gameplay already through roster updates...

I'm watched a review on YouTube and was surprised by the negativity of the comments. I've had difficulty with the game but gradually am getting the hang of it and am really enjoying it. I get there are problems but the "this game is trash" comments surprise me.

I'm an offline guy and also played way before patches. Way before. I strictly play offline franchise. Dying breed I think.

Look how great the game is imagine these last few years they didn't waste all that time with silly.. orange juice. .and storyline..this isn't a soap opera..I don't want a RPH. .I want a NBA SIM.

It's great to see many people are on board with two separate games..like you said probably MORE money for them also..59.99 for us Sims guys.,and 19.99 for the park/proam/neighborhood.

I swear once I saw neighborhood. .and Ronnie pushing it I swear I lost it..right after that event was over I went online here and posted how pissed I was ,thankfully jI didn't get banned and many agreed and wee outraged too.

I may NOT be the best player, but I want SIM SIM.

Since the profit margin is so important I KNOW they will make more money with two games because there will be people who buy both just like there are people who bought 2K AND Live this year... From a business standpoint it makes perfect economic sense to double your profit while at the same dime not spending any more on development because the game framework is already in place for both

When I entered my steam key about 7 pm est (threw myself into new Zealand to activate it early)...I was shocked at the steam reviews..I mean they were ruthless.. but many were angry and the VC being shoved down your throats.

Many were online players and basically consider not grinding your guy..and basically BUYING a guy as ruining the game., which I fully agree, even if I don't play online..that truly ruined it for them.

If 2k keeps doing this..they might as well just make mobile games..that's where micro transations really took off and ripping people off.

I buy a game,I want the whole game...no one should have an advantage on anyone put of the box.. unless they're using pure basketball intelligence and pure skills..to beat someone.

Let's be realistic isn't that the whole idea of online? The gratification of beating an opponent. ..or making a great my team. ...buy if you can simply BUY a good player.. why bother grinding? I feel their anger...we've supported 2k for about 2 decades now,and get thrown under the bus.

We need to petition this seriously..I mean 2k.. is making us do this.. and in a way were begging them to make more money ..but at least we will will get what we WANT.

Honestly always thought true SIM players bought 2K. .and arcade/freestyle type bought LIVE...then LIVE went down, and I feel 2k caved in when they saw the amount of $$ they can make catering to younger crowd..

Both sides WIN..in this.. ☆actually ALL 3 sides win 2k, online guys and offline. ..it's kind of a no brainer?

Re: MyPlayer Dunks are now easier, will gameplay keep changing?

Honestly I think the speed is a decent trade off for guards bit being able to dunk as often. I was sick of pgs doing standing dunks last year

The thing is I LOVE THIS GAME an truly believe it's the best one they have ever made ... they rushed last year with the early release and it showed because there were literally almost what 20 patches an 10 tuning updates? They had a full year this time and the gameplay is fantastic from a SIM pov ... I'll miss a lay up and actually smile while most people who post here seem to be tearing their hair out over it.. I think that's why thsee threads begging the devs not to touch it are popping up while last year there were die hard loyal customers who said they would never buy it again

I truly love this game too. .almost feels too good...but I'm not starting my career yet..

I played 2 games before my dog got sick..and the game was good..many misses.. with layups. .open 3s etc etc but the foundation was there.

Now today having good news, I finally played again. .and it's a completely different game than what I played last Thursday.

I mean that in a GOOD way,but I cannot believe how much can change in a week.

What will next week be?
