This is definitely one of the few things that ruin emersion in the game. When you see so many 7-footers hopping around like that. I wonder if it would be possible for them to add new sliders that are similar to the Min/Max Speed sliders they introduced this year, only difference is that it would control the height on player animations for tall/short players.

Ive never seen it like that but bigs definitely jump too high on animations.

In Pro-Am athletic finishers seem to do much better at rebounding even when they have worse positioning in comparison to any other archetype of equivalent size.

They also can instantly put it back after catching the board into a dunk, again ignoring any defender between them and the basket.

I didn't see this thread until now. Man my cousin and I have been really happy with the rebounding. It so real with the ball bring tipped around. We have never had that in 2k before.

So if one wanted to go in and edit player ratings to help this issue what would you guys suggest. The beautiful thing about quick editing this year is you can edit EVERYONE at once. So it should be quick and simple

I’ve had quite a few moments where I’d see D’Angelo Russell come flying in for a rebound looking like Rodman while Mozgov is in much better position(ie boxing his guy out and right under the basket)to grab the board.

Nothing game breaking but definitely something that should be looked at.

Guys have always been able to jump a bit higher that usual when it comes to rebounding...so I dont think thats the cause...I think it has more to with guys identifying their box out assignments...and holding them...

Agree Agree Agree! Most of the time when a player gets a offensive rebound. It's because he wasn't boxed out. And I'm totally cool with that. The fact that the ball can be tipped around still blows my mind.I love it.
