Lets not bash 2K and hope things can get better next year.
I just bought a video recorder for less than $100 and thankfully it works. Do share with community if u have other creative alternatives

3 years in a row, there weren't any response,explanation nor anything else so all i could say they don't care 3 years when we live in 2019 now it's only disrespectful to customers.

I don't need to buy anything more than a console as it's giving me everything i want and every other AAA game has their sound right, the copyrighted stuff would be checked by stream channels and copyrighted as it should so all 2k has to do flip the switch on and tick off the soundtracks and give us commentary, ball sounds and arena and we good.

The sound is off because of DRM. They don't want to get sued because thousands of users are making videos featuring music from the game that the artists/record companies aren't getting paid for.

Then my first question would be;

What about the other games ? They don't get sued for?

If so why don't get sued for if any Elgato user streaming?

And lastly If so why would they just mute only the soundtracks when streaming rather than muting all sounds such as ball, rim, arena, commentary?

I don't want to hear music just give me game sounds and that's in their hands as we already have whistles and such right. They just don't care and that's it.

Because there's other sounds that are probably copyrighted. Only they have permission to use them. It's just like when you make it YouTube video and use music from whatever artist, because you don't have the right to that media YouTube can strike you with a copyright claim and remove the audio to protect them.

I'm okay with YT done the job afterwards why would 2k cut it off in the first place?

Don't get me wrong i'm asking the questions so that we'd have a better understanding and also a place 2k to see what needs to be done, not against you at all. It's all good back and forth.

Same reason to protect themselves. Artists or record companies will sue you at the drop of a dime if it means a nice payout. 2K/YouTube generate lots of money and they don't want to chance it. I think NBA Live got away with it last year because they re-mixed the songs so they weren't picked up by content scans.
