Disagree, it's potentially game breaking and extreme (maxxing out badges takes A LOT of organic hours) 'cause you're going to pit the haves (cheaters) vs the have nots (non-cheaters) and the non cheaters are gonna say F this what's the point. You're going to see a drop off of players if they 2K doesn't send a message.

This is why no one plays PC. Bum cheaters. The "play by the rules" guys just say "F this corrupt wasteland" and quit. That's why you see no one on PC except cheaters.

Eh, it kind of depends on who is controlling the player. There are so many players out there where you can give them hall of fame everything and they will still suck because they have the hall of fame bum badge

I always say "I'm a 99 behind the sticks." that's why i don't worry about getting to 99.

I sometimes wonder that myself. It feels like it drives unnecessary traffic to the park and Jordan Rec Center.

I personally never cared and won't care to get to 99. My issue with the way things are and always will be is that you are so locked into a build unless you dump so much time and VC into another....even then you have to grind badges again which is absolutely stupid.

And it sucks because I like playing with my center but another group of people I play with desperately needs a point guard, but I can't unless I sit there grinding for weeks.

It's not that. It's the fact that people will make a brand new character, completely badge it out and then buy VC to upgrade the player.


I have a pure glass cleaner, pure lockdown, pure sharpshooter, pure post, and SG shot creator all completely badged out and all of them are 60 overall. Haven't used any of them yet.


My main account has my pure playmaker that I already have all the badges for. I'm just missing 2 badges on that account, but everything else is maxed out legit.
