I don't know why you guys insist on putting he blame on 2k though ....C Webb & KAJ have twitter accounts....ask them.

Knowing KAJs personality, I'm confident he got butthurt about something and bowed out...who knows about Webb

You don't need my help, I'm sure your autocorrect defaults to his name when you type the letter J at this point

I quickly threw this together in case folks on release day are really anxious to make their own created Barkley and need some ratings and signatures to have him fit in with the '85 76ers. These are from portlandblazer's classic matchups roster in 2K12. He also wore two upper white wrist bands (just below elbow):

I put the blame on 2K because they are the ones who made the game. What's the point of having a classic kings squad without Webber or a 76ers squad with no Dr J? I just feel like their time could have been better spent securing key players for classic squads rather than creating a Justin Bieber cyberface or a shoe creator. Just my opinion tho.

Can someone with a copy of the game please confirm that these three legends are missing?

Both the Kings and the 76ers squads featured Webber and Erving in 2K12. I'd guess 2K made a push to have them back this year as well. However, at some point, no means no. There's only so many ways 2K can negotiate a deal with these guys. And if they persist even after being told no repeatedly, eventually it gets a little weird. Point being, sometimes it doesn't matter how persistent a company is, things still might not work out.

Anyhow, maybe I'm just being overly optimistic but we still have 30 classic teams all with just about a full rotation. We might be looking at 250 classic players, including the likes of Jordan, Chamberlain, Russell, Wilkins, Magic, Larry, Robinson, Ewing, Olajuwon, Penny, Shaq, and Iverson. That's really nothing to sneeze at. Regarding those missing, my plan is to either create a crude looking counterpart of each player or download the best representation I can find on 2KShare. Then, if their ratings and sig's are jacked, I'll use last year's and apply them myself. Crisis kind of averted.

From what I've heard time and again, this is in fact true.

Re: What happened to Kareem, Dr. J., and C-Webb?

my hope for all of this was the roster was just some early build, but sadly it does not look to be that way. For me the 87 lakers will not be the same, and yeah a lot of other great legfends will be in the game , but no Dr. J or Kareem for me means i wont be buying the game, but who knows maybe somthing will change.
