If anyone notices any other players' ratings change, please, do tell.

And yes, we all knew Gerald Green was beast before this, but christ...he was probably one of the best offensive players in the post or anywhere with (unchanged) god-like speed and quickness

It shows me why we will never get a true, "sim" NBA game. Too many of these fans are nothing but casuals.
So true man. If you need an overall rating to judge basketball players, you're either 12 years old or one of those guys playing pick up ball with their complete Brooklyn DWill outfit and 200$ Jordans.

The easiest way would be to simply import percentages off Hoopdata with maybe a few tweaks to take the difference in defensive attention players get into consideration.
But look at popular things on wishlists for 2k14...More shoes, better graphics, more uniforms, dunk contest...
Let's say 2k leaves everythig unchanged in 2k14, except improving gameplay with much better AI, tendencies based on synergy data, playbooks that work and so on.
Just think about it, this could be the best basketball sim ever, but still the forums would break down with "omgz why did 2k not give us more shoes fo mycareer and the menus look all the same..." and stuff like that.

The main problem for me with 2ks rosters is not even that I disagree with a lot of things, but the lack of any reason and logic behind their decisions. I just don't see what's the plan behind the default rosters and playbooks out of the box. Now if they'd know what they're doing we couldn't complain, but there is simply no sense to any of it. A game where Amare is a better defender than Nick Collison...

Still no equipment updates. How hard is it to change a headband color?

Re: NBA 2K13 Video - Roster Update Details (1-17-13) LeBron James 99 Overall Rating

Westbrook is shooting 42.1% overall with a 80 consistency

36% from close range with a 92 rating

36% from mid range with an 88 rating

Guy has been struggling with his shot the entire year yet the 2k insider decides not to touch his shooting ratings. Why? So, he can maintain his 90 rating? If they raised his steal rating to the high 80s where it should be (78) and his pass rating to the low 80s (73) then this wouldn't be a problem. Yet its simple changes like these that he ignores.

Jared Sullinger got updated but Tristan Thompson went untouched? /sigh

At first i was complaining about melo's overall but now understand it ties into not only offense but D, rebounding and assist. LeBron should be a 99 cuz he average in all of those are very high. My only problem i have is with Russell Westbrook, he scores inside with big men all over him and still makes shots. I think his inside is a bit to much.
